Due to acute shortage of teachers residences, a need was being felt for their construction since long but non-availability of funds was impediment. Now the funds have been arranged for construction upto grey structure level. The drawings have been submitted to TMA/ETPB for approval. The construction work will start shortly.
Construction of New Aligarh University
Alhamdolillah the Soft Ground Breaking of the New Aligarh University Project took place on March 25th, 2022 at Manga Multan Road Lahore. The project in Phase 1 comprises of an Academic Block of ground plus one floor of 20,000 Sq. feet each and a Multi Purpose Hall of 25,000 Sq. feet at an estimated cost of Rs. 600 million, all through donations.
Veteran Mian Shamim Ahmed the senior most Trustee, MashaAllah aged above 100 years dug the first hole of the Project. This was followed by the President G.A. Sabri, Chairman Construction Committee Mr. Aslam Mughal, Honorary Secretary General Dr. Humala Shaheen Kahlid, Mr. Asad Mukhtar Chairman Banu Mukhtar and other prominent guests/donors. It was a widely attended function and renowned Dr. Arif rasheed offered Duas for the early completion of the Project leading to enhancing education to under privileged and creating National Harmony.
Aligarh Public School Qutab Shah Campus
In 2003 one late Agha Qutabuddin Shah made a Waqf Deed for over 13 kanals of land at Bhatta Chowk Defence Road Lahore Cantt for construction of a school in that area. Unfortunately some elements had illegally taken over the possession of this land, the case of which is under litigation since long. This case is now being pursued vigorously in the courts of law. Recently the possession of the disputed land has been taken over by the Trust and application for permission to start construction of the primary section is in progress with the Cantonment Board Lahore. No sooner this permission is received, work on this Project, estimated to cost Rs. 30 million will commence immediately.
